A creative response to Magma Interrupted by Olivia Kan-Sperling

They’d be sat at a long table. We wore black and white. In my mind, my hands were very light, moving quickly and attractively around the silverware, cut lilies, lace napkins, and so on There was a chandelier composed of many drops of glass, each of which ended in a sharp, quivering point, and I’d have the feeling that these were pointing at me, like fingers. Quite strange. So sometimes I would let the large spoon slip into the tureen of soup. But I carried some of the prettiest dinners on the continent at that time.
